In a nail-biting encounter against Pune’s Pinak Anap, Dhvaj Haria delivered a stellar performance, firing the tournament’s highest break of 141. Seizing control with his impressive break and establishing a quick 2-0 lead, the IOC player seemed to have the match well in hand. However, Pinak mounted a comeback, pushing the match to a decisive seventh frame after trailing 2-3.
Despite the pressure, Haria, a former India Top 8 ranked player, adopted a cautious approach in the final frame, focusing on each ball to accumulate points. His timely 40 break in the penultimate frame proved crucial as he emerged victorious with a hard-fought 4-3 win.
