Western Railway’s Shekhar Surve won his first round 3-0 in the Matunga Gymkhana presents MG 6 Red Open Snooker Tournament.
Surve who is more inclined towards billiards impressed all with his potting and a clean display of tactical play against Rauf Sheikh.
The second frame of the match was a highlight as this frame was a high scoring game but in a different way.
There were exchanges of safety rallies with snookers and counter snookers followed by multiple three time foul and misses and frame seemed unending and an enjoyable sight.
However after clinching the second frame, Surve wrapped up the match to win 3-0 to now face Hindu Gymkhana’s Sanjay Joshi
