Rob Hall crafted a superb break of 525 as he delighted the spectators on this fine Sunday afternoon here at the Cricket Club of India.
Off to a rocky start, trailing by around 160 points to Junior National Champion Rayaan Razmi before he shifted gears. Hall got to the top of the table quickly and maintained the position throughout the break, displaying supreme command over the ‘floating white’ sequence. As soon as he crossed the 100 mark, the crowd could seemingly sense a huge break was on the horizon and the focus and determination in Hall’s eyes was apparent.
On 485, Hall played a cannon, and a rather careless error saw the white pocketed. His break finally terminated at 525 leaving all in awe of this fine display of Billiards. The standard of play here at Sir Wilson Jones Billiards Room is rising with every match, and what’s next is anyone’s guess. Until then…
