Matunga Gymkhana’s Poras Shah registered a comfortable win in Round 3 of the Matunga Gymkhana presents MG 6 Red Open Snooker Tournament.
Playing against Anil Sagar who caused a major upset in his previous encounter against the former India No.2 and former National Coach Sanjay Sawant, Poras was seen in fluent form on his home table and Sagar struggled to hold him and make his presence felt.
The 3-0 whitewash was a quick affair as Poras was on a potting spree and a 34 clearance in the second frame is proof of a clear intent to perform well on the home turf.
Shah is now set to play his Round 4 with the decider man Shakir Qureshi in a best of 7 tie.
The matches are in full swing and we are having an overdose of #Sixmg with the raw talent showing it’s emergence in the round of 64 starting tomorrow.
