Parikh’s Double Ton Powers His Way Into the Top 8!

Parikh’s Double Ton Powers His Way Into the Top 8!

Former Asian Billiard Sport Champion and World Bronze Medallist, Siddharth Parikh, produced a masterclass of control and scoring as he dismantled Vinay Kalro in their Round of 16 clash at the Vijay Ved Memorial Open Handicap Billiards Tournament 2025.

Starting with a daunting handicap of -750, Parikh showed why he’s regarded among India’s finest exponents of the three-ball craft. His trademark floating white and silky cue control were on full display as he crafted a majestic 222 followed soon after by a 146, completely shutting out Vinay’s chances.

In a one-sided display of artistry and endurance, Parikh amassed close to 950 points to Vinay’s 170, stamping his authority and easing into the Top 8 of the tournament.

Speaking after the match, Parikh admitted that scoring close to a thousand in one sitting “takes a toll on both mind and body,” but added that this event serves as perfect match practice ahead of the All India Railways Cuesports Championship.

Next up, the Central Railway ace faces the calm and composed Nikhil Lalwani of Chembur Gymkhana — a match that promises tactical brilliance and relentless scoring. With Parikh needing to cover 950 against Lalwani’s 280, all eyes will be on how the maestro manages the grind once again.

Stay tuned for more baize brilliance…
