Nitesh Bhatia continues with his winning streak at the Matunga Gymkhana presents MG 6 Red Open Snooker Tournament 2023.
Playing against the old hand and experienced Sameer Karia, Bhatia took off to win the first frame and find himself levelled at 1 frame each after dropping the second on a close black ball game.
Escaping yet another cat and mouse chase in the third frame on the black ball, Nitesh switched gears to seal the match 3-1 with a comfortable margin to end Sameer’s run and find himself a place in Round 3.
When the skill is equal, mind matters.
These second rung of players have manifested sheer determination and exhibited the best of their abilities keeping in mind the limitations.
And this game was yet another example of enjoying the moment and enjoying the spirit of snooker.
