Wellingdon Catholic Gymkhana’s Karan Makwana shocked Manav Panchal in a thriller of a decider. The underdog Makhwana held his nerves as he cruised to a 2-1 lead against the former state ranked 1.
The petit built Cueist was pushed to the decider by the experienced Panchal only to be tested to show his mettle by dominating the decider to end Manav’s run.
In the one sided decider frame, Karan was seen playing in his limitations which earned him the hard fought victory.
Karan now faces Piyush Kushwaha and expects to play what he practices at his home club.
