In quick moving half of the 64 draw of the Bathija’s PJHG 6 Red Snooker Markers Tournament 202, Suresh Mahadik shocked defending champion and club mate Bernard James in a thrilling 4-2 victory.
Entering into battle with James, Mahadik found himself chasing his opponent to finally level the scores with 2 frames each.
Switching gears to potting mode, Suresh was seen taking the lead for the first in the frame scores as he pulled of a one sided 5th frame followed by a close brush in the 6th frame on the final colours to seal the match 4-2 to find himself to be the first to enter the Top 8.
