The youngest of the lot in the Wilson Jones Billiard Room at CCI, Krish Bajaj went head on with club mate Raj Khandwala to play to the wire as these young men battled to find their place on the Top 64 of the CCI Snooker Classic 2023.
The less experienced Bajaj played to his limitations which proved enough to go level with his talented opponent. Two failed pots on the blue by Khandwala gave Bajaj the much needed opening to convert into a 30 plus but important break.
Krish then played to maintain his lead and end the match 4-3 to now face former India Top 8 Dilip Kumar.
“The entire Billiards Department is proud of our young boy who also happens to be my son and seeing him rub shoulders with top players and go through the grinding will only help in his learning curve” said an elated Behari Bajaj, Jt Secretary Billiards Department, CCI and Krish’s father.
