Former MP State Champion Kanishk Jhanjaria got the better of former India Top 4 and UP’s Akshay Kumar in a thrilling decider in the CCI Snooker Classic 2023.
The slow paced duel was an exchange of safety and pots and the Cueists were seen to make the best of the few opportunities that came to them in a close battle for round 2 victory.
Kanishk who is also a playing member at the Cricket Club of India showed a glimpse of his circuit comeback and kept the run on for his home club to join Krish Bajaj, Nishant Dossa and Raj Khandwala in the winning streak.
Kanishk now sets course to face Ajinkya Yelve for his round three encounter.
