Current India No.2 and twice Asian Billiards Champion, Dhruv Sitwala sets course to face Top scorer, Rupesh Shah in the Quarter Finals of the CCI Classic Invitational Billiards Championship 2023
Beating club mate and sparring partner Siddharth Parikh, Dhruv was seen in his usual style of composed and controlled Billiards where he ousted Parikh with breaks of 259 and 112 occupying the table for majority of the 2.5 hour battle.
Though Parikh gave his best to match his front running opponent, his effort of 150 unfinished proved inadequate with less time in hand.
The slow paced yet heavy scoring Pre Quarter Final was one of the other close games of the day which only proved the high standard of this tournament
Now facing Rupesh Shah in the Top 8, this is a rematch for the two after their National Championship Semi Final encounter where Dhruv got the better of Shah.
Will it be a repeat of history or shall it be Rupesh who will be the winner this time?
