In yet another thrilling clash of youth vs. experience, Islam Gymkhana’s Anwar Chaudhary halted newcomer Shaan Patel in the opening match of the MG 6 Red Open Snooker Shootout.
Malabar Hill Club’s Shaan made an electrifying start, firing in a 24 break that caught both his seasoned opponent and the audience by surprise. However, last year’s MG Break Billiards Runner-Up, Anwar, responded in style—sealing the first frame with a stunning long black pot that set the tone for the match.
From there, it was all Anwar, as he cruised past the promising youngster with a flawless 4-1 victory.
