Home player Ajit Kobnak earned himself a place in the top 8 of the Bathija’s PJHG 6 Red Snooker Markers Tournament 2023.
A multitasking Ajit registered a white washed victory against neighbor Garware Club’s Suraj Karande. Shuffling between referring and playing matches Ajit was seen in fluent form to ousts young Suraj 4-0.
A double black ball tied second frame could have seen Suraj fighting for his chances however, a failed safety shot allowed Ajit to pot a long open black to lead 2-0. Wasting no time Ajit wrapped up the game and set top 8 clash with seasoned GSC’s Suresh Mahadik.
