Rob Hall staged a comeback from behind to beat Sourav Kothari 873-603 in their CCI Classic Invitational Billiards Championship 2023 quarter-final clash here at the Sir Wilson Jones Billiards Room at the Cricket Club of India.
Sourav started off strong, scoring heavily with breaks of 216, 139 and 103 and looked dominant heading into the interval. Hall, however, despite just one century, made significant contributions to slowly and steadily wrestle away the match from Kothari, who just did not seem the same after his barrage of breaks in the first hour.
