Dhvaj Haria was seen off colour in the pre quarter final clash against former world champion and current national coach Ashok Shandilya at the CCI Classic Invitational Billiards Championship 2023.
Though leading right now in the quarter final against formidable and surprise knockout entrant Ishpreet Singh, Haria survived a turbulent ride with scores running almost level with Shandilya.
Ashok was well within the striking range but failed to convert his chances to allow the young Gujarat lad to take a comfortable lead in the concluding 30 mins of the game.
The power packed game saw Haria leading by 200 points with the margin reducing to 40 points and eventually escaping the wrath of the Legend by 70 points.
This is expected and it is inevitable.
