NSCI’s Ajinkya Yelve fired a phenomenal break of 63 to oust Otters Joseph Menezes in the quarter final match of the Bathija’s PJHG 6 Red Snooker Markers Tournament 2023.
With clean 3-0 victories in round 1 and round 2, Ajinkya shocked home player Sunil Shedge 4-1 in the Pre Quarters before his fine display of snooker against Menezes.
Leading 2-1, Yelve fired the tournament’s highest of 63 to lead 3-1 and ultimately wrapped up the game 4-1 with another 35 clearance to show his command on the table.
Yelve, a former 6 Red Snooker State Top 8 eyes this elite title which he has longed for quite some time.
Playing against a forceful Malabar Hill’s Rajesh Mayavanshi, Ajinkya is battling it out right now in his Semi Final Clash.
