The opening day of CCI Classic Invitational Billiards Championship 2023 has been of what was promised of this elite tournament.
A fine display of Billiards was witnessed in the second half of the day at the Sir Wilson Jones Billiard Room with big breaks flowing in too effortlessly.
With Siddhart Parikh and Dhvaj Haria in their true elements, big breaks were inevitable and the same was manifested as Parikh fired a clean 322 coupled with 3 centuries and Haria came up with a 308 which ended abruptly with a unforced error.
Other notable efforts came from Matunga Gymkhana’s V. Subramanian aka Raja who fired a 223 to oust Rayaan Razmi.
