Otter Club’s Yash Babani registered his second win in the Matunga Gymkhana presents MG 6 Red Open Snooker Tournament 2023.
Starting off the MG campaign with a straight win in Round 1, young Babani faced tough resistance from Mithil Shinde in round 2 and narrowly escaped defeat in the best of 5 frame encounter.
Displaying composure in the decider, Babani relied on his potting and capitalized on the given opportunities and sealed the frame comfortably ending Shinde’s fate and setting course for a 3rd Round battle with Ajinkya Yelve.
The Cueists are fighting their battle with their strength and limitations and different temperamental approaches are being witness as the raw talent exhibits snooker in its own way.
It’s one week of MG 6 Red Open and the battle is on for the 50k winner prize plus a premium Nagee Cue.
