Extending the winning streak of Hindu Gymkhana’s markers brigade, Milind Divekar produced a fine performance to stun contemporary Rajesh Mayavanshi at the Vijay Ved Memorial Open Handicap Tournament 2025.
Rajesh, who lifted the Markers Snooker Trophy at PJ Hindu Gymkhana just last year, was taken by surprise as Milind showcased a gritty and disciplined display of billiards while defending a challenging handicap of -140.
Milind, playing off scratch, capitalized smartly on his head start, inching steadily toward the 200 mark. Each small but productive visit proved vital as he eventually sealed the win 200–137, setting up an exciting Round 2 clash against Juser Master.
