National Champion Advani, known for his finesse and quick-fire approach, dominated the one-sided clash with commanding breaks of 77 and 53, leaving Khan struggling to find his rhythm.
The highly anticipated semi-final had promised a thrilling contest, especially after Khan’s outstanding performances in earlier rounds. However, the match failed to live up to expectations, with Faisal looking off-color and unable to replicate his previous form. Every missed opportunity by Khan was swiftly punished by the Indian snooker legend, who dictated the pace and kept his opponent in his chair for most of the game.
Faisal’s sole frame win came with an impressive break of 66, but it wasn’t enough to shift the momentum. Advani, in his usual composed manner, capitalized on every opening to seal his third consecutive Grand Finale appearance at the CCI Snooker Classic.
