His highlight performances included a commanding 3-1 win over Ranked No. 5 Suraj Rathi and a clean sweep against junior Rohan Pai (3-0). However, a nail-biting clash against Marzdi Kalyaniwala saw Panchal narrowly miss out on victory in a 3-2 decider after leading 2-0, with a crucial miss on a tricky black double proving costly.
