Playing with remarkable consistency, Matang topped Group H without dropping a match, accelerating his position as a serious contender. The silent yet focused cueist showcased his class with 50+ breaks in every game, including his MHC Showdown-best 65.
Losing just two frames across three matches with a 3-0 win against Prashant Dumbhere, 3-1 against Anuj Agarwal and 3-0 against Swapnil Patil, Matang Pit-stopped in the Top-4 seeding for the knockout stage.
